Mission:
The Dalles-Wasco County Public Library provides Wasco County's citizens with free and equal access to material relevant to their informational needs.  The library serves as an unbiased source of information with opportunities provided for personal, educational, cultural and recreational enrichment.

Description:
The Dalles-Wasco County Public Library serves the residents of Wasco County as well as the residents of surrounding areas who pay an annual fee or are included in reciprocal borrowing agreements.  It is operated as a separate fund of the City of The Dalles, and has been historically funded half by the City and half by Wasco County.  The library is also a member of Gorge LINK, an automated library system shared by seven libraries in the Wasco - Sherman Country area.

Monday through Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED
