What’s Happening?

The City of The Dalles was chosen to particpate in a case study focused on live streaming and community engagement. The project is funded in part by Open.Media. Foundation, YouTube and Google.

As part of the study the City received a camera, iPad and training on use of the Open.Media platform.  Our test run was at the February 12 City Council meeting.  The goal is to have Planning Commission, Historic Landmarks, Urban Renewal and City Council Meetings all streaming live and archives available after meetings by the end of March.

Find Live Streaming in the "Agendas and Minutes" menu.  The videos are indexed by agenda topic.  Click on the agenda topic to forward the video to items of interest.

Please email City Clerk Izetta Grossman at igrossman@ci.the-dalles.or.us with any questions or comments.
